Scholarships

The Rochester District Youth Soccer League is pleased to support our college bound soccer players with our Annual Scholarship Program.  Two scholarships, for 1 boy and 1 girl, in the amount of $250.00 for each year of college (a maximum of four years, attended consecutively) will be awarded to a student athlete that is participating in the RDYSL and will be graduating from high school in June 2008.  To maintain the scholarship the recipient must maintain the equivalent of a 3.0 average.  The RDYSL Scholarship Committee will review applications and the awards will be announced in August 1.  Applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria (listed in no specific order):

• Academic Achievement

• Soccer Experience

• Soccer Related Essay

Applications are now available on our website, www.rdysl.com.  We encourage all club presidents and coaches to make sure deserving players in their club are aware of this opportunity.

All applications must be completed and received by July 1of the year the player graduates.
